Our company is seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships for our boutique Salesforce consulting services for insurance companies. This role will require the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners and clients, as well as the ability to generate inbound sales leads.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on leading practices and technology/industry trends, application/integration architecture, solution design, and implementation leading practices.
- Provides implementation strategies and approaches for prospective clients
- Engineers demonstrations for prospective clients
- Reviews prospective clients needs from a pre or post implementation perspective
- Supports on-going projects to streamline & improve the processes within the sales organization
- Build lasting relationships through day to day interactions with key client managers and staff.
- Participates in requirements gathering, design workshops to understand applications’ functionality and support requirements.
- Works with business and technology leaders to further define the support and project functions needed within the organization.
- Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.
- Find opportunities with the new releases to showcase and enhance new features for existing clients.
- Manage existing client relationships and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services
- Work with partners to build and maintain strong relationships and generate more inbound sales
- Meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling Salesforce consulting services or other software solutions to the insurance industry is highly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
