HipTen is an insurance-vertical-specific Salesforce Implementation Partner. We’re seeking an experienced and technically-minded Salesforce Technical Project Manager to join our team.
Role
As a Salesforce Technical Project Manager, you will work with our team to transform an insurance company's tech stack and internal systems by overseeing projects, budgets, resourcing, and delivery processes. You will also be responsible for working closely with the customers, consulting team, developers, and management to ensure project success from kickoff to go-live.
This is a remote-based role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to use video calls, Slack, Zoom, and other asynchronous communication tools. If you have a keen eye for detail and are motivated to ensure project success, you may be a great fit for this role at HipTen.
Responsibilities
- Developing, reviewing, and approving project plans and scope to ensure all project deliverables are met
- Being responsible for the deliverables, cost, schedule, and quality of the project
- Planning and managing team goals, project schedules, and new information
- Supervising current projects and coordinating all team members to keep workflow on track
- Aiding in leading a project from pre-sales to post-delivery processes
- Directing project-related correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, meeting summaries, and emails
- Communicating with clients about project requirements, scope, progress, and risks
- Adhering to budget by monitoring project activities
- Running the daily stand-up for project status and project blocker updates
- Identifying and creating project efficiencies
- Evaluating potential project problems and developing solutions
- Reviewing current internal projects and ensuring stakeholders are performing actions needed to maintain project momentum
- Coordinating with third-party vendors and consultants to ensure assignments are completed
- Deescalating customer issues effectively and respectfully
- Generating excitement and recognition of product value with clients
- Act as liaison between customers, consultants, and executive management to provide feedback on new feature developments
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Participation in each phase of at least 2 full Salesforce lifecycle implementations
- At least 2 years of Salesforce project management experience
- Experience managing IT projects dealing with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Document management and ability to use project management tools
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and willingness to communicate with the customer effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and confident command of the English language
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and analytical mind with business acumen
- Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated
- Experience working as part of a remote team where you weren't micro-managed
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Independent and enjoys process optimization
- Fluency in written English
- Project Management-related certification or education is a plus
- A BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
